C. Michael Adams, Jr., CPA, is a partner with the firm of Williams, McDaniel, Wolfe, and Womack, practicing primarily in the areas estate planning, taxation, wills and trusts, business succession planning, and probate administration. Mr. Adams is a Certified Estate Planning Specialist Attorney and also holds a Master of Law Degree in Estate Planning. He is a frequent lecturer on these topics to C.P.A.’s, attorneys, and financial professionals. He was recognized by Memphis Magazine as a Five Star Wealth Advisor in the attorney section, and has been quoted by the Memphis Business Journal on the topic of estate planning. Mr. Adams received his Bachelor of Science degree from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, in 1990. He received his CPA certificate in 1994 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Memphis, School of Law in 1997. He received his postgraduate law degree, a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Estate Planning, from the University of Miami in 1998. Mr. Adams is co-Chair of the Wills and Trusts Section of the Memphis Bar Association and a member of the Tennessee Bar Association. He has served on the board of the Allied Professionals Conference from 2006-2009 and is past-president of the Society of Financial Service Professionals in Memphis. He is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Memphis, the Tennessee Society of CPAs, and the Memphis Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Mr. Adams is active in the Memphis Humane Society and is a Past President of the Memphis Chapter of the Spring Hill College Alumni. Mr. Adams is an avid runner and played rugby for Spring Hill College while attending there.
