Michael L. Womack joined the firm in 1988. His practice is generally limited to commercial loan and real estate transactions, transactional, corporate and general business matters. He has extensive experience in commercial real estate transactions. He represents numerous financial institutions in commercial lending transactions. Mr. Womack has lectured at attorney seminars on real estate, real estate security instruments and related matters.

Mr. Womack received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University in 1973. He attended the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College, receiving his Juris Doctorate degree in 1976.

Mr. Womack’s community involvement has included the East Memphis Exchange Club, various Memphis in May steering committees, the Mid-South Fly Fishers, the National Audubon Society, National Parks Conservation Association, The Nature Conservancy, American Rivers and the Memphis-Shelby County Humane Society.

Mr. Womack is a member of the Memphis Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association and National Institute for Trial Advocacy, and is admitted to practice in Tennessee, Louisiana and the Federal Court system. Mr. Womack formerly served on the Memphis Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral and Legislation Committee and the Tennessee Supreme Court Committee on Moral Fitness for Admissions to Practice Law.
